You’ve found a compact battery-powered hand tool that allows you to not only perform precise cutting around your yard – it can assist in DIY projects, too. Try this birdhouse-building project from STIHL using your GTA 26.
Wood: 1" x 6" x 5'
Screws: Approximately 1.5"

Prepare the board for cutting, measure and mark the board from the top down.
2 side pieces: 10 in. long on one side; 9 in. other side
1 front piece: 9 in.
1 rear piece: 16 in.
1 top piece: 7.5 in.
1 bottom piece: 4 in.
PLEASE NOTE:
Using a 5 ft. board, you should have 4.5 in. of board length left over. Actual total length needed is: 55
1/2 in.
Drill a hole in the center of the front piece for which a bird can enter. Add a small hole for hanging in
the center top of the back piece.
Place the sections together following the diagram and attach with screws.
You may decorate your birdhouse with paint or stain.
Hang in your yard and enjoy the wildlife, or give the birdhouse as a gift.
