There are currently a number of websites and advertisements from questionable sources apparently offering the STIHL GTA 26 Garden Pruner for “low prices” between $24 and $49. The fraudsters give the impression that they are directly connected to STIHL by using official STIHL image material or URLs relating to STIHL. However, this is a scam, STIHL is not connected in any way to these sites, and people placing orders through these sites do not receive the product they paid for.

The advertisements appear on various platforms, including Instagram and Facebook and link to a variety of different “retail” sites. STIHL is looking into the matter and is in contact with the relevant authorities.
